Nuovo logoNuovo logoWe had great success serving Nuovo artisanal pastas at the Back Bay Cafe. The Ravioli fit in with our menu of cuisine made from well-sourced, high quality ingredients. They cook up quickly and we served them either with our own kitchen-made sauces or with a drizzle of olive oil and a grating of fine Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese.
Now we offer these stuffed pastas in 10 oz packages. You can keep them in your freezer and either cook the whole lot for a large meal or just a few for a solitary (and quick) mini-feast.
 
Crab & Lobster Ravioli - Crabmeat & steamed lobster (from Canada) are coarsely ground and tossed with drawn butter and herbs. This mixture is folded into a crab mousse then piped into a striped square ravioli with red and yellow pasta.
 
Spinach Asiago Ravioli - Sauteed spinach leaves with garlic and sage are folded into whole milk ricotta in a striped colored spinach and egg pasta
 
Casa di Lisio Pesto Alla Genovese
We make our own pesto from the fresh basil plants we have in pots on our summer deck. But wouldn’t it be nice to have that taste all year round? Now you can, with this excellent green sauce from Casa di Lisio in Mt. Kisko, NY.
