Mrs. Bridges Chutneys

Made in Scotland by traditional methods

From the Mrs. Bridges website:

As you’d expect from a deluxe brand with traditional values, the Mrs Bridges collection is crafted using classic methods.

Our authentic approach means that we use the time honoured, slow boiling, open-pan method of making marmalades and preserves. And we still use the traditional copper bottom pans.

Based at our family run company in Arbroath on the east coast of Scotland, Mrs Bridges products are all manufactured with no additives, thus we preserve tradition - and more importantly rich flavour. With the best of Scottish soft fruits on our doorstep in the berry fields of Scotland, Mrs Bridges’ recipes use only the highest quality crops to produce a notably superior collection.

Creating a deluxe range from original recipes, however, is only one step in establishing a range worthy of the Mrs Bridges’ stamp of approval. As all cooks know, presentation counts. The complete Mrs Bridges’ range is presented and packaged with a vintage feel; preserves come in an elegantly shaped jar, capped with a traditional jampot cover; cookies in tall biscuit tins; teas in caddies and hampers and gift baskets are hand packed - just as Mrs Bridges would have prepared her family’s picnics.
