We are celebrating the publication of Perilous Power, the second and final volume of Pilgrimage of Grace. This book takes Roger Lupton into high royal circles and climaxes in the rebellion sweeping across England in 1536 when he is forced to make hard choices. Only after many years and false leads is the murder mystery finally solved.
Those who've been following the story know that Middleton House figures in the events. What you may not know is that this is the ancestral home of the family of Kate Middleton, who, earlier on the day of our celebration, will be married to Prince William of Wales.
Put on your royal celebration garments (Father Jim will be wearing his dress kilt) and come to Back Bay Cafe to celebrate both the royal wedding and the conclusion of the Roger Lupton story with a traditional English "Tea" - a late afternoon light meal that gets you through until Dinner. We'll serve tea, sandwiches and dessert for a fixed price of $12.50.
In order to plan for this event, we must insist on reservations. Please give us a call at 252.944.2870.
